AttestWork demo tour · Part 1 of 6

Connect the AI your firm already uses.

AttestWork speaks the Model Context Protocol (MCP). If your firm works in Google Antigravity, Claude, or ChatGPT, you add one connector URL, sign in, and your assistant can read and draft inside your engagements - through scoped, recorded, revocable tools.

Illustrative engagement: Hudson & Vale CPAs, LLP (Albany, NY) auditing Riverbend Community Services, Inc. (Rochester, NY) - a NYS-funded nonprofit, GAAS audit, FYE December 31, 2025, with a NYS CFRDec25 Examination add-on. Fictional firm, client, and data.

Five minutes, one URL

Add the connector where your AI lives

In your assistant's connector settings, paste the AttestWork MCP URL. The assistant discovers the OAuth configuration on its own - no keys to copy, no agents to install.

MCP server URL

https://attestwork.workpaperos.com/api/mcp

Copy this into Settings → Connectors in your assistant. It's live - you can test it with your own WorkpaperOS account today.

The bot does the heavy lifting

  • Discovers the connector's OAuth setup automatically (OAuth 2.1 with PKCE, dynamic client registration).
  • Sees the full attest toolset after authorization: engagements, procedures, files, PBC, workbooks, reports.
  • Works from Google Antigravity, Claude, or ChatGPT - whichever your firm subscribes to, on your AI account.

You stay in control

  • You sign in with your WorkpaperOS account - the assistant never sees your password.
  • You choose which companies the connector may touch, per authorization.
  • You can disconnect at any time from your assistant's settings, and revoke access from WorkpaperOS Settings.

workpaperos:read

Read engagements, risk assessments, workpapers, and PBC requests.

workpaperos:write

Create and update audit documentation on your behalf.

Every authorized tool call is recorded. You can revoke this access at any time from Settings.

AllowDeny
Guardrail: Access is scoped to the companies you tick - the connector cannot see any other firm's data, and companies whose plan does not include MCP cannot be authorized at all. Every tool call lands in the engagement's MCP log.

First conversation

Then just talk to your files

Once connected, your engagement files are something your assistant can read and write - in the same chat where your team already works.

What's outstanding on the Riverbend audit?
Riverbend Community Services - Audit FYE 12/31/2025: 4 of 12 PBC requests still outstanding (bank statements for Jul-Dec, asset listing, lease agreements, payroll registers). Fieldwork is 59% prepared / 26% reviewed. Two procedures were reopened after yesterday's TB re-import - F1.1 cash schedule and F6.1 PP&E lead schedule. Want me to re-draft both against the updated balances?
Yes - and post a comment on the PBC thread asking for the missing bank statements.
Done. Both drafts updated (sign-offs cleared for your re-review), and I've drafted the client comment on PBC #12 - it's waiting for your approval before anything goes to the client.
Guardrail: Drafts are drafts. Nothing reaches a client, a report, or a sign-off without a person at your firm approving it.
